Dendriform is the current project of Jordan Lamp. Born in Portland, sculpted by the Pacific Northwest, Jordan has been producing for over 10 years. He has released a handful of albums under various aliases, covering diverse genres, as well as several collaborations. Whether holedup in the studio twisting knobs and pushing buttons, or playingout in a damp eerie forest, his sound always has a psychedelic flavor, and an intent on hypnotic trance states.
He is currently the manager and sound engineer of Theta State Records.
Music and sound are mysterious and powerful forces. How lucky we are to live in an age where they can be so freely and intricately manipulated. Through this medium I seek to expand, alter and explore my own and others consciousness. It is a journey that I suspect will consume me for the rest of my days…won’t you join me?
Jon Timm's Bio
Over the last few years I’ve been living in Portland making and playing music with the band Bleach Blonde Dudes. I have small studio in my office where I can produce audio recordings and videos. Recently, I got the opportunity to make some sensory deprivation inspired music for Float On; after I posted a couple ambient tracks on their site created after floating. Over the last few months I’ve been scheduling float sessions immediately followed by recording sessions to observe the effects of the sensory deprivation on my creative process.
Jon Cates' Bio
Jon Cates has been consistently producing music in the northwest since the 90s. Best known for his work with OM Records and the Community weekly events in SE Portland, Jon crafts his deep hypnotic sound at the forefront of our evolving culture. Jon Cates’ Mauna project has been inspired by sensory deprivation. Suspended in liquid the mind turns inward for stimulation, and the subtlest wash of emotion becomes a crescendo of bold drama. This project focuses on that which harmonizes with silence, creating a playground of expansive space for the mind to interpret.
